We Are The Miracle For Which We Pray…

Those of us who are waiting for some human-created, mythical, man-god to perform a miracle…leading us out of the hell we have established upon this planet…have been grossly misled…for this “God…” whatever “It” is…acts in…as…and through us…and not for us…at our request…For we are the “actors…” and “God…” the Actor…
In other words…“there ain’t gon’ be no miracle” unless and until we get up off our knees and let “God” use our bodies…minds and souls…for “It’s” Divine Purpose…to achieve “God’s” AIMS…and not ours…for we are here to do “God’s” Work…and not vice versa…
If enough of us let go of that mystical…magical thinking upon which we were suckled…we might reverse the direction in which humanity is now heading with maniacal speed…Perhaps the time has come for us to SIT DOWN…SHUT UP…TURN OFF ALL OUTSIDE GADGETS and STIMULI…all that fear-mongering gibberish that keeps us glued to the cell phone and TV…and instead…turn quietly within…to the Silence of our Hearts…Asking: What can I do? How may I help? What…my “God…” would “You” have me do with this life that belongs to “You…?”
For we are flesh…the body… created by this Great Mystery some call “God…” to follow…and not to direct…
Maybe…just maybe…if…in the midst of our human hubris…we stop and assume the proper position as regards “God” and man…we may be able to turn events away from the dangerous course upon which we find ourselves…before we have achieved total and complete self-annihilation…
One thing…for sure…This Great Mystery…this Unnamable…Intelligent…Omnipresent…Omnipotent…Omniscient…Energy underlying all Being…cannot…and will not be destroyed…
And once we humans destroy ourselves…as we seem intent upon doing…
”It” will simply create a new…and hopefully…more intelligent creature than we humans proved to be…
