Is there something in your lifemindbody…that you no longer wish to experience?

Try withdrawing your attention from it each time that you find yourself thinking about it.

Instead of dwelling mentally and imaginatively on what you don’t wantswitch your thoughts and inner attention to something about yourself or your life…that makes you feel good.

Do this a “zillion” times a day if you must.

Be patient.

And one day you will suddenly realize:

  • the worrisome condition, circumstances, or person(s) have disappeared
  • you were so involved in newjoyfullife-giving thoughts that you can’t even remember when the troublesome condition…situation…or person…simply vanished

 

You can change your entire life and conditions of the body by simply changing the focus of your attention from what you do not wish to experience…to that which you do.

I’ve been practicing this for at least forty years now…

and although my life has never been trouble-free

I’m still standing

without a walker…or joint replacements

still youthfulvibrantvigorous

and useful

and squeezing every joyful drop of juice I can…

from this mysterious and mystical experience called human life on planet earth

 

(a bit more hard-earned wisdom from this very joyful Elder for you to take

or leave…)
